Aurora Golf e-News – December 2009
Holiday Greetings Golfers,
TIP OF THE MONTH
Left a club at a previous hole?
Have you ever walked off a hole and later realized you
have left your wedge near the green? When I first
started golfing, my mom told me to always lay my clubs
down on the green and not along the edge. Someone is
sure to notice a club lying on the green. It’s pretty
easy to miss seeing a club lying in the rough along the
edge of the green. Before you know it you are at
another hole reaching for your wedge and it’s not there!
NEW ARTIFICIAL TURF
ON THE DRIVING RANGES
Do you want to practice in the winter when the
weather is nice but you don’t care to hit balls off
mats? Centre Hills, Aurora Hills and Meadow Hills now
have artificial turf on their driving ranges. The
golfers that have tried it are impressed. I like it
because you can put a tee in it. Try it out; I think you
will be pleasantly surprised!
NEW! NOW PURCHASE PREMIERE CARDS ONLINE!
Not sure what to get that golfer in your life this
holiday season? What about a lesson package from our
professional instructors? Call the courses for
information on purchasing a lesson package. Or how
about an Aurora Golf gift card or premier card? Now you
can purchase both on line. The gift cards come in any
denomination and make great stocking stuffers! The
premier cards come in either $300 (cost = $250) or $600
(cost = $500).
Purchase.
